Am I Eligible?
To be considered for a LoneStar Diabetic Alert Dog, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- You must be an insulin-dependent diabetic.
- You must have been on insulin for at least 1 year.
- You must be at least 6 years old.
- Your entire household must agree to a home interview.
- You must be able to provide scent samples during training.

Initial Review
Our team reviews your inquiry to confirm eligibility and fit. We will email you a full application to be completed and returned to us.
After we receive your complete application
If we feel it may be a good fit, someone will schedule a phone conference with you. If we cannot, for any reason, continue the process with you, we will let you know.
